New Code Compliance Reporting System – August 3, 2020

Code Compliance Hotline Info

The City implemented an enhanced system for reporting code compliance and parking enforcement concerns. If you suspect there are violations of the San Dimas Municipal Code or have any questions or concerns, please call the Compliance Hotline at (909) 542-2502. Please include your name and phone number in case we need to contact you regarding your complaint. This information is kept strictly confidential and is not released outside our office. Please include the street address or a description of the specific location (i.e., northwest corner of an intersection or one lot east of specific address) of the suspected violation. If you would like a Code Compliance Inspector to call you back, please specify. Complaints may also be submitted by filling out an online form.

 

 

General Plan Update – July 28, 2020

The City of San Dimas is currently undertaking the preparation of a new Housing Element in accordance with State law. The Housing Element is one of the required elements within the City’s General Plan, along with the land use, transportation, conservation, noise, open space, and safety elements. The General Plan guides future growth and development within the City of San Dimas. The next Housing Element cycle will guide housing policy and housing programs for the next 8 years, from 2021-2029. The Housing Element must be approved by the City Council and submitted to the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) by October 2021 in compliance with state law. Temporary Outdoor Dining Permits – June 2, 2020

In order to assist local restaurants in dealing with occupancy restrictions due to the COVID-19 virus, the City of San Dimas is pleased to announce that we will be permitting temporary outdoor dining for any interested local restaurant. Online Bill Pay – May 13, 2020

 

The City of San Dimas is now accepting select payments online! We are currently taking online payments for certain permits, plan checks, or tax payments. Visit https://sandimasca.gov/new-online-bill-pay/ to find out more information.

 

 

Specific Plan No. 23 Moratorium – January 7, 2020

Specific Plan No 23 Moratorium

 

On September 24, 2019, the City Council adopted Urgency Ordinance No. 1272, implementing a temporary moratorium on the establishment of all uses, expansion of existing uses, and development or modification of new or existing structures in Specific Plan No. 23 Planning Area. With the input received from the community, City Council and the Planning Commission, City staff will develop a comprehensive set of allowable and conditionally permitted uses, development standards and design standards/guidelines for Specific Plan No. 23. Coyote Information – November 26, 2019

The City of San Dimas recently adopted a Coyote Management Plan which is based on research and best practices that include tools to respond to coyotes in an urban area. This plan has implemented methods that are supported by professionals and have been utilized by other municipalities in Southern California. This plan does not supersede federal, state, county, and city regulations and policies.
