The City of San Dimas is currently accepting applications for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

The CERT Program educates people about disaster preparedness and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, and disaster medical operations. Using their training, CERT volunteers can assist others in their neighborhood or workplace following an emergency and can take a more active role in preparing their community.

After joining the San Dimas CERT. Team, volunteers will have opportunities to participate in disaster exercises, promote emergency preparedness at community events, and respond to disasters in coordination with emergency responders in the City of San Dimas and other local communities.

To learn more about the CERT program or to apply, contact Larry Giannone at lgiannone@sandimasca.gov or (909) 542-2505.
