The Parks and Recreation Department’s (SDPRD) Youth Assistance Scholarship Program (YASP) is available to youth wanting to participate in a variety of SDPRD recreation activities.  Provided by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, participants have access to classes such as karate, basketball, ballet, day camps, music and much more.

Families interested in the YASP can apply through SDPRD for a $200 activity scholarship that can be utilized through June 2020.  Applicants will be pre-screened to determine eligibility based on household income levels.  San Dimas residency and income documentation for all household members is required.  SDPRD team members are available and ready to assist throughout the scholarship process.

Parks make life better and the YASP makes participation affordable and accessible.
