Youth Scholarship Program

The City of San Dimas Parks and Recreation Department’s (SDPRD) Youth Assistance Scholarship Program (YASP) is available to qualifying youth wanting to participate in a variety of SDPRD recreation activities*. To qualify, families must complete an application and provide documentation of household income and residency as listed below.

*Trip, excursion, material fees and uniforms are not eligible for scholarship

Please see the  application process:

  1. Submit completed YASP application with copies of requested documents (YYASP Document Checklist)  a minimum of two weeks prior to start of the activity you wish to enroll in, via email or mail. Please call the YASP team at 909.394.6290 for any questions.
  2. Upon review and approval, you will be notified via email. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for processing.
  3. The scholarship is non-transferrable. If the child misses an activity, cancels, or requests a transfer, no scholarship amounts will be credited back to the applicant’s account.

In order to expedite the processing of your application, please submit all requested paperwork together, incomplete applications and/or paperwork will delay your application in being approved.
