Mighty Mites
The San Dimas Mighty Mites program, is for participants ages 4-7 years old. In our Mighty Mites program instruction is emphasized over competition. That is why there are no coaches; only instructors. The program is led by trained recreation leaders who teach participants the basic concepts and fundamental techniques of the game. Furthermore, standing and scores are not kept and a winner is not announced at the end of the games. Our goal is to provide a healthy recreation experience, teach great sportsmanship, and fundamental techniques of sports. In order to obtain these goals, we ask for positive cooperation with parents.

Mighty Mites Sports
  • Flag Football: September-October
  • Basketball: January-March
  • Soccer: April-May
  • T-Ball: June-July
Team assignments: Every effort is made to equalize teams. Players are randomly assigned. We try to assign an equal number of age groups to each team. Brothers and sisters will be assigned to the same team. This is the only special consideration that will be given.

The Mighty Mites scheduling is unique to the program. The first session is always separated by age groups. The first session is for 4-5-year old’s and the second session is for 6-7- year old. After the first session all Mighty Mites are placed into their teams for the rest of the season. The program begins with three practices in a row then six games.
