Since its incorporation in 1960, the unprecedented growth of San Dimas has transformed the City from an essentially rural area to a well-balanced community offering industrial, commercial, and residential living. In addition to the 1,700 acre Frank G. Bonelli Recreational Area which lies within the City boundaries, there are many parks such as San Dimas Canyon Park, a city-owned golf course (San Dimas Canyon Golf Club), and over 27 miles of equestrian trails for riding. The city services include an extensive recreational program for youth and for senior citizens, and the City boasts a new modern City Hall, with excellent provisions made for County Sheriff and Fire Departments, along with a fine Los Angeles County Library and Engineering Regional Office.

Charter Oak Mobile Home Estates is a 55 years of age and older community of 185 spaces located at 801 W Covina Boulevard in San Dimas. The City of San Dimas has contracted with Mobile Modular Development, Inc. to provide property management services for the community.

Charter Oak Mobile Homes Estates Space Rent Assistance Program
The purpose of the Charter Oak Mobile Home Estates Space Rent Assistance Program is to assist eligible low to very low-income senior homeowners who pay more than 30% of their income towards housing cost with a monthly credit towards their space rent. Eligible homeowners can qualify for a monthly space rent credit of $100.00 or $115.00. Please call (909) 394-6250 if you have questions or concerns regarding this program.

In-Home COVID-19 Vaccinations for Homebound LA County Residents
Residents who are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccination but have difficulty leaving their home safely can now request in-home vaccination. Requests can be made by calling 1.833.540.0473 between the hours of 8:00am and 8:30pm, 7 days a week. Please click HERE for more information.
