The City of San Dimas created the SD Cares Program to assist the city’s Older Adult community during the COVID-19 pandemic to help ensure a successful “Safer at Home” effort. As LA County has entered into the Yellow Tier, which allows for fewer restrictions, the SD Cares Program will begin to phase out services.
Beginning June 2021, the SD Cares Program will modify services. Senior Center staff is available to assist with coordinating additional request or services on an as needed basis. An additional resource list is also available for program participants who may still need these services.
This program would not be in existence without the generous support from community members and volunteers. The City would like to thank everyone for their donations and support.
For more information on additional resources please contact the Senior Center at 909-394-6290.
