The 10th Annual San Dimas Downtown Holiday Extravaganza is on Saturday, December 7, this year from 4 pm – 9 pm.  Join in with all of the community for a wonderful event and a memorable experience with new attractions and activities that are sure to delight. The Holiday Extravaganza begins with the “Let It Snow” parade that will travel through downtown San Dimas starting at 4 pm. The parade route will begin on Bonita Ave. at Iglesia Ave. and culminate at Bonita Ave. and South Cataract Ave. Immediately following the parade, festivities will continue in downtown along Bonita Avenue featuring a Holiday Skate Rink, once again provided by Platinum Sponsor Majestic Realty Company.  In addition, this year’s Holiday Extravaganza will have rides, games, entertainment, and a puppy petting zoo.  Children will have the opportunity to slide down the dueling snow slides of Mt. San Dimas, graciously sponsored by the San Dimas Senior Citizens Club.   Lastly, Bonita Ave. will highlight unique hand-crafted items that will be on display at the Holiday Marketplace, as well as, food trucks, beer & wine gardens and local community information booths.   Stroll by the beautifully decorated storefronts and restaurants of Bonita Ave., where children can participate in the Downtown Fun Day Holiday Treasure Hunt. Various downtown merchants will also be offering treats and special discounts. The San Dimas Brass Ensemble will start at 5 pm and will create a festive atmosphere throughout the event space.  The climax of this year’s Holiday Extravaganza will be the Tree Lighting with Santa and a special surprise for everyone in attendance beginning at 6 pm.

Kick-off this holiday season at a family-friendly celebration presented by the San Dimas Parks and Recreation Department, San Dimas Chamber of Commerce, Bonita Avenue Merchants, San Dimas Festival of Arts, and the San Dimas Historical Society.
